  • Wanted to start a blog with my BFF, Jean. But after several conversations that we had the other night, it ultimately turned off my initial idea i.e creating a Malaysian based blog. It is inappropriate to invest our time "kutuking" some other people who we might get offended to and the worst part of all is that we might get a law suit out of this matter. Blogging = such a risky business.

Then.. maybe I just need to continue my previous plan.

  • Happy NIU year 2009

    elie

What an awesome chinese new year! I celebrated with friends and Eric's family, gambled a lot and thank goodness I've won few hundreds (Eric is my lucky charm).

    elie2

I have uploaded some of the chinese new year pictures into Eric's pc but he told me he couldn't find "Elie" folder! Sorry guys. I'm waiting for him to upload our pictures as well. I will just post whatever I have first.

This year friends' reunion and catching up session was almost complete but only short of one of our dearest friend, Magdalene. I'm so happy to see her at Han's house. However, I did not talk to her much since I was busy gambling there. Pardon me, for being so addictive suddenly!

This little kid reminds me of my cousin. Haha...I do not want to disclose the details about him. Anyways, I'm flattered by his comments towards me. =D

  • A Fresh Start With A New Look

Hey people! How are you guys getting on? Sorry for abandoning this page again! I’m so tied up with work and hectic schedule ahead of me.

I have been busy baking cookies (Eric’s old time favourite “mo mo”) and plus I need to squeeze in some time for my studies.

A lot has happened to me lately. So far my life has been in unsatisfactory condition. Not that I want to complain but I feel unhappy mostly because of my work.

Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy what I’m doing and I feel that I have a good connection with conveyancing work. Hmmm..some things are better left unsaid.

I’m looking forward to my trip to Kuching. Will be there for 10 days. Yoohooo!! I get to stay in Eric’s new house, meet my friends and spend time with Eric! It’s going to be awesome.

A year ago I had straight hair and without braces.

This year I think of changing my look by perming my hair and highlighted red (which I never done before). Remember I always said that I would go and fix my teeth? I just got it done in November last year. It's only two months but I see great results. Thanks to David Orthondotics.

It is hard now. I can't smile that often in pictures anymore. My lips will be sealed until the day the dentist remove my braces. I'm still not comfortable with it. But thanks to the braces, I've lost 15 pound in these two months. If anyone were to ask me how to go on diet... my answer to them would be "Braces".

  • 2008 face-down!

    Greetings everyone!

I know it's been a while since the last time I blogged. Finally I have the time to blog today! Do you know what happened on 31st December 2008? I just witnessed three different individual fell down flat on the floor at three different venue! It was hilarious and frightening at the same time. I wonder why people party so hard on that day itself or merely unfortunate time for them to be there.

I was having my lunch with my colleague, Heidi when suddenly a little boy fell down from his seat onto the floor with a solid thud sound. Apparently, he was lying flat on the floor. I was afraid that the passed out or something but it turned out that he did not sit properly and was making a fool out of himself. The parents acted like nothing happened! Gee, if I’m his mum..I sure lose my appetite and quickly rushed back home. I can’t imagine the impact on that little kid’s head.

Later at the night, I decided not to go out for new year’s celebration and spent some quality time with my parents. But that thought didn’t last long till I received a call from Jeanette. She was just nearby at my place and invited me to VIP party at Solaris, Mont Kiara. Well, why not right since it’s once in a lifetime celebration of year 2008 ending. I quickly dressed up for the countdown party and went out from my house around 10 plus close to 11 pm. I had a quick tour around that area. While I was at GODDESS, I bumped into two of my ex-schoolmates! And little did I know that, the place was owned by my friend, Kenny. What a small world, indeed.

Our VIP party was not there, we went to THE SAVAGE instead. And what surprised me was that in less than an hour, I saw another girl tripped at the staircase and fell flat on the floor. She just glued on the floor and her face facing on the floor. Ouch, it must have been awfully painful. I was behind her and tried to rescue her from the fall. But I it was too late for me to grab her. Few seconds passed and there were two men helped her up. I asked her if she was feeling alright. She did not hear me and fainted again.

Despite of the funny and awkward situation, we managed to wait till 12 am sharp and shouted happy new year to everyone. We left the place kindda early. And guess what I saw on the way to the carpark? Another girl fell flat on the floor just in front of the lift area. My oh my… Her face flat on the floor as well. What a surprisingly new year to start with!

  • OMG..I'm feeling so outdated. I've figured it out how to edit a picture by using adobe photoshop. Hmm..testing.. A month ago I had long curly hair and now with my straight hair back...I kindda miss my curly hair although it sure add figures to my age. People mistaken   me that I'm a married woman, you know, like just got married. Oh no...I'm aging. Woman's no.1 fear! To have wrinkles all over your face.

I have to accept the fact that you can't beat the time as it is moving fast and forward.  The nature is that eventually women will age and lose their youthfulness. I bet every woman's dream is to regain their youthfulness and stay young always. Accepting of who you are becoming is one of the important factor to boost our self-esteem.

Metabolism rate tend to slow down after you reach a certain age. Increase our metabolism rate takes time and need to have constant exercises. Sometimes I do wonder why every woman is so bothered about how they look and other people's point of view. It doesn't matter as at the end of the day we still age and die. I prompted this question once to myself but I realised something... it's just like as if i'm saying why not don't make our bed early in the morning and just rushed out from house since at night we still be sleeping on it anyways. But that wouldn't be so ethical thing to do, right? Losing weight do make us feel good!

I've spend a lot of time watching anime and japanese drama, "Garo". Finished the whole 27 episodes including "The Beast of the White Night Part 1 & 2". It was quite a interesting drama and I would recommend anyone to watch it if you like horror, thriller and fantasy kind of movie. It is far way better than Power Rangers. I'm a fan of all the series. But it would be better if they improve the graphics just a little bit more. This link will direct you to the overview of "Garo". Enjoy!

  • An ordinary girl who lives in a hectic world. A girl who tries to be strong to face all the challenges in life. A girl who determines to strive for her goals in her life. A girl who just wants to be a woman and be with the man she loves. A girl who is fragile deep inside and yet trying so hard to fight this fragileness. I'm just a girl but not like any other girls.
